Known mainly as a ceramist. From 1945 to 1955, he studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of painting of Prof. Hanna Rudzka-Cybis, drawing of Prof. Zbigniew Pronaszko and wall painting of Prof. Wacław Taranczewski. At the same time, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology, where in 1952 he earned a master's degree in technical sciences and an engineering degree in architecture and urban planning from Prof. Włodzimierz Gruszczyński. In 1956 he became a member of the Union of Polish Artists of the Krakow District. He took part in 95 group exhibitions in the country abroad and organized 35 individual exhibitions. He participated in many plein-airs, including international ones. He was the initiator, organizer and curator of many exhibitions of the artistic community of Cracow. He is the recipient of many awards and honors (including the Witold Wojtkiewicz Award).
