Tadeusz Wąs, Character

Tadeusz Wąs was born in 1912 in Żerków, and died in 2005 in Crewe, UK. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, specializing in wall painting and stained glass. During the war he joined the Anders Army, with which he reached Italy, where he settled for several years. From 1945 to 1947 he studied painting in Rome, and his works participated in the International Art Exhibition, where he received a silver medal. In 1947 he emigrated to Great Britain, where he lived for the rest of his life.
