Another very rare, select variety of the Elbląg grosz.
It is distinguished by an error in the inscription of the denomination. The reverse legend reads “GOSSVS,” with an “R” stamped over the letter “O.”
Grzegorz Romańczyk classified this variety as R* in terms of rarity .
