A 5 groszy clip from the State Mint’s official commemorative issue “10 Years in Circulation,” prepared to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the introduction of new Polish coins into circulation following the redenomination of the zloty.
The clip is made of manganese brass, the same material used for the 5 groszy circulation coin. The issue was limited to 5,000 sets, each comprising all nine denominations from 1 grosz to 5 zlotych.
The piece shown here has been graded by NGC to the very high grade of MS 68.
The limited mintage and very high grade make this piece an attractive collector’s item.
