. A trojak of the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia (a vassal state of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth) minted in accordance with the Polish monetary system and authorized for circulation throughout the entire Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
A variant with the abbreviated date “9–9” separated by an arrow (the mint mark of Hans Stippl, administrator of the Mitava mint) at the bottom of the reverse.
A variant featuring rosettes on either side of the date and a rosette dividing the inscription on the reverse.
Condition: 3+
A well-struck and nicely preserved coin. A rarer year of issue. An attractive piece.
