From the author:
Three Chapters depicts very contrasting, drastic changes in life, its different chapters. The patches that do not match the period symbolize that nothing in life is completely black and white. As humans, we have various parts of our personality, from altruism to hatred. Each version of us has glimpses of our past or future. The painting invites the observer to contemplate the trajectory of events. Do they begin in innocence, traversing the gilded epochs of empty time, towards an all-encompassing black abyss? Or do they progress from a life of darkness, passing through the golden years, to the pure land of white at the end of life?
Monika Pochroń
Born in 2000. She comes from a small town in eastern Poland. Currently a student of biotechnology at the Wrocław University of Technology, but she prefers to present herself as an artist. She has always dreamed of painting and reaching people through art. Her greatest aspiration was to make creating her main occupation, but she never had the courage. She grew up believing that art did not provide financial stability, that artists barely made ends meet. However, she now believes that if you can provide people with something of value, you will be appreciated. Over the past few years, she has made significant changes in every aspect of her life. She started following her heart, pursuing what she really wants from life and chasing her dreams, instead of conforming to the expectations of others or self-imposed standards.
