Fryderyk Chopin - 10/1-6-1a-KI Twelve Great Studies for the Pianoforte, Composed and Dedicated to His Friend F. Liszt, Leipzig, Kistner, 1833.

Sheet dimensions: 244 x 310 mm. Minor soiling on the title page; interior in good/very good condition. The quality of the printing indicates a very early print run. The first German edition is known to exist in only one piece. By 1840, three editions had been published by this publisher; the piece offered here belongs to the second edition. The last photos show the description from the *Annotated Catalogue of Chopin’s First Editions* by Rink & Grabowski.
