1 grosz 1939 from the General Government, a zinc coin from the period of German occupation. Although the coin bears the date 1939, it was actually struck between 1941 and 1944 and entered circulation on December 17, 1941.
This piece has been graded MS 62 by NGC.
The obverse features a varied surface coloration, with darker areas predominating and transitioning in places to the lighter color of zinc. The reverse is in a darker tone. The coin has no visible signs of corrosion and features well-preserved detail.
