The collection includes recordings from the first half of the 20th century, mainly jazz, swing and popular music of the time.Among the publishers represented are His Master's Voice (HMV), Capitol Records, Philips, Decca and other world-renowned brands. Some boards are marked by Australian distributor J. Stanley Johnston Pty. Ltd., indicating their origin in the international market.
