Bulgarian silver grosh from the period of the Second Empire, Tsar Ivan Alexander, issue from 1331-1355.
Obverse: Christ with nimbus facing standing before throne, both hands raised, in benediction. To the left and right of his head are the abbreviations IC - XC, the monogram on each side of Him, above the throne, left monogram АΛЕ (Alexander) and right monogram ЦР (Tsar)
Reverse: Tsar and his son Michael Asen facing with sceptre upright, in between staff at the foot end on both sides star. At the top, of each side of staff, are monograms for "Alexander' and "Tsar", in the left and right field are monograms for "pious" and "Michael"
