Poznan. Together with her husband Ventzislav Piriankov, she owns the Ventzi Studio and Gallery and the Student Furnace Gallery in Poznan. Painting is an area in which she explores her interests in inner development, universal truths.
Katarzyna Piriankov's painting work focuses on the motif of flowers, symbols and archetypes. Flowers are not a realistic representation, but a pretext to transcend realistic reality. Rather, flowers are a pretext, a code that leads deep into the painting. Sometimes they are a stream of concentrated, positive messages, intense colors, luminous colors. Sometimes they are a reflection on transience, then they are ephemeral images emanating nostalgic beauty to which we cling, aware of its illusion. This is a constant desire and search for happiness, moments of contact with it and the feeling that we have found the answer - what it is.They are not necessarily flowers, not just flowers - there is much more hidden under this beauty. They can be treated as signs and symbols, signposts to remember who we are. Piriankov's paintings also feature abstract signs, enigmatic symbols and mysterious writing, which he uses to convey philosophical themes.
