Written in 1990 and included in the album "Cambio," "2009 le cicale e le stelle" sings against the rampant game of soccer and consumerism. Evidence that kisses and hugs have been lost, and that we even fail to notice those who die in the apartment next door, alone in the silence of the night looking for the cicadas and the stars. Accompanied almost by sacred music it finally explodes into an evolved aggressive danceable. Curious is the master's thought in the act of writing it, imagining in fact a tale of a multinational corporation executive living in his office on the high floors of a skyscraper who has not descended to the ground in years and travels only by helicopter. it is here that at some point he should descend among the people, but the elevator goes no further than a few floors below, and so he is left only to wonder where the world he knew as a child has gone, again emphasizing that he no longer lives in human terms.
