Mary, seated beneath a tree, cradles the baby Jesus on her lap, his gaze directed towards the viewer. As an expression of humility, Mary rests her hand on her chest, while an angel kneels nearby, offering a basket to the infant Jesus. Joseph stands behind the group, observing the scene alongside the angels and the child. Positioned at the top left, putti float in the sky, while three cherubim (winged putti heads) adorn the upper right corner. Oil on copper 38 × 30.5 cm
