Jan Szary born 1961 in Zakopane. He graduated from the Kenar High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane. There he became friends with Maciej Berbeka, painter, graphic artist and stage designer of the Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz Theater. This famous Himalayan artist had a great influence on his work. Gray received a diploma from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Professor Leszek Wajda's "History of Form" where he studied Interior Design.
He worked as an art teacher for several years. He promoted many young talents. The artist also creates graphics. His works are in private collections in Europe but also in the USA and Canada.
