Kama ROSIŃSKA (b. 1976), *Strange Parade*, 2019

Born in 1976 in Lublin. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (B.A., Photography) and the University of Arts in Poznań (M.A., Photography). She has exhibited her work at, among others, the OFF Biennale in Dakar, Senegal; the 10th Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence; and the 6th Biennale in Piotrków Trybunalski. Two-time winner of the Grand Prix at the CYBERFOTO International Digital Photography Competition (2000, 2022) and the Grand Prix at the “Odklejona” Photography Competition under the patronage of the Silesian District of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF) (2024). In her work, she draws primarily on the perspectives of depth psychology, mythology, occult and alchemical symbolism, the natural world, as well as ecstatic spiritual traditions, music, and dance. She works in various media, ranging from painting and drawing to a technique of her own based on analog photography.
