Martyna Malka Górecka received her diploma in painting in 2018 in the studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak, and an annex in drawing from Prof. Czesław Radzki at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. For her, fish are not only an important subject of her works, but also the action of light and the complex relationship of color and form from one area of the painting to another. Her works are a summation of her travel memories, an apparent abstraction reminding her of the plethora of new experiences from countless trips to the sea. Above all, it is an abstracted frame that reaches deep into her memory.
