Monika Adamczyk, b.1990, member of the Warsaw Association of Artists. In her work she focuses on simplicity of form, reducing the number of elements to the bare minimum, which allows her to express deep emotions and reflections. In her paintings she strives to capture the essence of form, color and space. She creates compositions full of calm, concentration and inner balance, which in a world full of excess stimuli become an act of conscious tranquility. In her work she strives to capture the essence of emotion and the relationship between shape and background.
Her works are created out of a need for tranquility and contemplation, and are reflections on everyday life and passing moments. By dispensing with the excess of pictorial elements, she allows what is really important to resound.
She draws inspiration from nature, everyday observations and emotions, which she tries to pour onto the canvas. She treats painting as a form of personal expression and a way to capture moments that often escape attention in the daily rush. In addition to painting, she is also interested in art history, which helps her in her search for her own artistic language.
The artist paints with acrylic paints on canvas.
