Sculptor in Prague. Studies: School of Sculpture in Horice (1919-1923); School of Applied Arts in Prague (1923-1924, under Maratka, Kafka); Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (1924-1928, under Spaniel). Study trip to Italy and Rome (1930). Former member of the Association of Fine Artists "Myslbek" in Prague, in whose exhibitions he participated. He contributed to exhibitions organized by the Cultural Council and won awards in various public competitions. Some works: sculptures "Meditation" and "Aspiration" (marble); various portraits (e.g., Prof. August Sedlacek, Dr. F. C. Kampelik); memorial plaque of Jan Jenik of Bratrice, bronze sculpture "Christ" in the crematorium in Strasnice; monument to the fallen in Vrchotovice; bronze "Girl Reading" and the sculpture "Seated" in the possession of the Ministry of Education and Enlightenment.
