Wooden balustrade 18th century 3.30 x 82 cm
composed of two curvilinear elements, each of which has a stepped base tapering towards the top with a projecting central part. The head is also curvilinear with an owl's beak frame and a central prominence. The head and base are connected by thirteen shaft elements with a knot in the center and quadrangular geometric rings above and below the knot. White lacquering of the base and foot, lacquering of the elements in fake marble in shades of red, sienna, gray and ochre. Condition: overall good with some missing parts and wear as per use over time.
