Solid silver ladle

probably for ceremonial use due to its large size, it has a long, smooth handle, a knot, and the concave part is decorated with a floral engraving, probably a stylised rose or flower in the centre, surrounded by symmetrical lines delineating the petals and giving a radial sense to the decoration. A bird figure is engraved at the top, probably an ornamental symbol with stylised naturalistic references.The ornamental flakes and the engraved bird could suggest a connection with Asian art, between the 18th and 19th centuries. Item condition grading: **** good.The lot is in a good state of preservation with the normal wear and defects commensurate with its age and use over time.
