Design of the Marshal J. Piłsudski House of Physical Education and Military Training in Oleandry, 1930. Józef Piłsudski’s House in Oleandry, also known as the Marshal Piłsudski House of Physical Education and Military Training, was intended to be a massive, symbolic complex and one of the most important modernist representative buildings in Kraków. One of Poland’s most outstanding architects, Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz, was responsible for the design. The building that survives today is only a fragment of the original design, which has survived only on paper. This item is part of a unique collection of documents concerning the construction plans for the Panorama of the Legions and Marshal Piłsudski’s House in Oleandry.
