Biography
From 1963 to 1969, he studied at the Department of Textiles at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź. He is a full professor at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where he heads the Woodcut Techniques Studio and, since 1984, has served as chair of the Department of Printmaking. He is a member of the International Association of Woodcut Artists XYLON, based in Switzerland. He has received numerous awards, medals, and honors at exhibitions and competitions for his artistic work and achievements in teaching at the higher art education level.
