Rare handwritten text by Czech conductor, composer and music critic Josef Stránský, who was music director of the New York Philharmonic from 1911-1923 and Gustav Mahler's successor. Stránský became famous not only for his conducting skills, but also as a collector and art dealer.The text, written in German, contains a jocular rhyming recommendation of the restaurant Hunek, in a free translation:
"Love passes through the stomach, therefore I advise you: visit the Inn at Hunek, you will be very satisfied!"
