Description: Lily countermark on a Comtat Venaissin Douzain of Clement VIII (Cardinal Ottavio Acquaviva); (MIR 1483-1507). It was countermarked with in accordance with the ordinance of June 1640, giving it a value of 15 deniers instead of 12. A crisp, clear countermark on the obverse of this very rare host type.
