Obv: Cruciform invocative monogram (type V): Θεοτόκε βοήθει. In the quarters: τῷ σ[ῷ] δούλ[ῳ]. Wreath border.
Rev: Inscription of three lines: Νικηφ[όρ]ῳ β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθαρίῳ. Wreath border.
Translation: Mother of God, help Nikephoros, imperial protospatharios.

This seal is overstruck (re-used). Traces of the previous inscription are visible in the left margin of the obverse while the wreath border and two letters (λῳ) of the previous inscription in the right margin of the reverse.
