The Impero was the most prestigious model in Tibaldi catalogues of the 1930s. When the Tibaldi brand was revived in the 1990s, the Impero model was used as a reference to manufacture a luxurious limited edition which could bring back to life the beauty of the ancient model. The pen is manufactured in shiny grey speckled celluloid with blue inserts and has rhodium plated trims. The limited edition was released in 1998 along with a prestigious book on Tibaldi’s history. This Tibaldi Impero is unused and in perfect condition. The pen was released as a limited edition of 600 pieces: 300 for the Italian market (with a copy of the book in Italian) and 300 for the foreign market (with a copy of the book in English). This pen is Nr. 0069 and the book has the same serial number (Italian). The lot is completed by an Impero booklet. The pen is housed in a wooden pen cabinet but there his no outer box to contain the book and the booklet. Length 14 cm. Nib is 18 ct rhodiated gold, without indication of grade. Excellent
