A contemporary frame styled after a historical one, featuring a rounded, gently curved form that lends it decorative lightness and a classic character. Its ornamentation is rich, dense, and eclectic: the profile is adorned with stylized shells, floral forms, and plant tendrils that radiate from the corners like stems topped with fruit. The motifs are clearly defined, with beautiful relief and fluid dynamics.
The inner band of the frame features a flowing style, with soft lines and an organic rhythm characteristic of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The outer edge is accented by an ornament of tiny beads, forming an elegant, pearlescent border.
The entire piece is gilded, with subtle tonal transitions that highlight the relief and decorative character of the frame. The interior is finished with a canvas mat, which adds a touch of class to the composition and highlights the displayed object.
Condition: Good (dusty, slight chipping of the ornamentation on the inner corners, particularly in the lower right corner)
