Biography
Polish photographer, cinematographer, and lecturer. During the Warsaw Uprising, as a photojournalist for the Government Delegation for Poland, he documented the fighting in Śródmieście and Powiśle.
After the uprising, he ended up in Kraków, where he worked as a cinematographer at the Film Institute. In the late 1940s, he began working at the Educational Film Studio in Łódź. From 1953 to 2005, he taught photography at the Łódź Film School, while also working as a cinematographer for the Polish Film Chronicle in Kraków.
