Biography
He is a graduate of the National Film, Television, and Theater School in Łódź, Faculty of Cinematography and Television Production. From 1975 to 1976, he worked as a director at the Educational Film Studio in Łódź, and from 1976 to 1977 as a cinematographer at the Documentary Film Studio in Warsaw. He taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and at the National Film, Television, and Theater School in Łódź. He also worked as a lighting technician at Telewizja Polska. He is a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF). Until 1980, he was a member of the Film Form Workshop. Since 1970, he has participated in numerous presentations of Polish art both in Poland and abroad. He creates films, photographs, and artistic performances, and is engaged in theoretical and poetic work. He was awarded the Medal commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Polish Photography.
