Biography
He began studying drawing and painting while still in middle school. He continued his studies at the Warsaw School of Decorative Arts and Painting under the guidance of E. Butrymowicz. In 1941–42, he studied in Moscow. He designed posters and painted war-themed works. After returning to Poland, he served as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1950 to 1952. In the years that followed, he devoted himself entirely to painting. He traveled extensively, including to Italy, France, and the United States—during these trips, he created landscapes and cityscapes of many of the cities he visited.
