A rare, one-sided trial print of the portrait from the 1939 50 złotych banknote, made on paper other than the type used for banknotes intended for circulation. Printed on a 1:1 scale based on the main design, but on a larger sheet of paper: 112 x 112 mm. Printing method: intaglio (steel engraving), in dark green. At the bottom, the inscription reads: BANK POLSKI SPECIAL V-83662 AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY; the entire piece is mounted on a presentation card measuring 151 x 227 mm.
A rare and attractive item, in practically mint condition.
